"This lady was in the house by herself locked in waiting for her daughter to show up at home so we could come in and assess her. We found her on the floor. She couldn’t get up. But with the help of the students we assessed her. We tried to talk to her but she was scared to death. She wouldn’t talk to you or say anything, but cry. I continued to talk to her and tell her we were there to help her. I started making jokes I told her that I was at her house so she could tell me the gossip that was going on around town. She finally started laughing so hard and she grabbed me by the neck and never wanted to let me go. This was one of my best days ever in the mist of Covid." - Jaqueline Crespo Perry
